Hi, everyone!
As I’ve been working on my 90-day Vision, I want to share with you my biggest lesson learned in the last 90 days.Â
About six months ago, I made the difficult decision to let go of my organization, Savor the Success, to fully focus on Savor Beauty, natural skincare made in New York by women.Â
It was not easy to come to this conclusion since I would be letting of a tight-knit community that had been a part of my life for a decade.
I would also be giving up a good salary, but the hardest part was letting people down. As a people-pleaser, my toughest inner battle was letting what others wanted to take precedence over what I wanted.Â
As a result of taking this risk, these past 90 days have been my best yet. I feel aligned, joyful, light, on fire, and on purpose.
I wrote in my planner‘s reflections pages that I would become the acting CMO alongside being CEO for the next 90 days.
(Yes, I was scared. Yes, I felt like an imposter. And yes, I didn’t quite know what I was doing.)Â
But I had a clear vision: redefine what marketing means, create a plan to scale with purpose, and bring our values to life–from products to people to PR.Â
In my 90-Day Vision, I wanted to also launch our brand NEW Yuzu Lemonade Peel. With refreshed focus, my team and I created the marketing plan, sent 200 boxes to the press and influencers, and got written up in Allure, Bravo’s blog, and People.
When we put up our Yuzu Lemonade visuals in the spas, it all came full circle for me.Â
The true marker for success is that we are having fun, utilizing everyone’s creative talent, and connecting within the team and with our customers.
When you turn to the “My Vision” tab of the planner, you will see a powerful quote:Â MAKE YOUR VISION SO CLEAR THAT COURAGE OUTSHINES FEAR.
Have you worked on your vision? Don’t skip this part because if you don’t know what you want, other’s vision for you will take precedence.
Turn to the “My Vision” tab in your planner, write it down, make it happen.Â
xx,Â
Angela ♡
