QVC Launches Girl With Curves With Style Influencer Tanesha Awasthi

Today QVC announced a new size-inclusive apparel collection created with leading style influencer and body positivity advocate Tanesha Awasthi. The Girl With Curves (GWC) collection ranges from sizes XXS to 5X. Awasthi created the Girl With Curves brand in 2011 as a style blog. Today, her blog and social media channels collectively boast over a million followers.

“Girl With Curves collection is about inspiring confidence and celebrating curves in every size,” says Awasthi. “When I was looking to bring the line to a retailer, it was important that the retailer’s values were aligned with mine and GWC’s. QVC has prided itself on being size-inclusive from the beginning, and that’s what GWC is all about.”

Girl With Curves represents the newest chapter in QVC’s commitment to inclusive sizing. According to Rachel Ungaro, Vice President of Apparel for QVC, that commitment goes back over 30 years. “One of QVC’s guiding principles is that everybody deserves a great shopping experience that helps them feel seen and helps them look and feel fabulous.” All fashion products presented on-air at QVC must offer at least a size run through 3X. QVC also offers price parity; plus-size customers aren’t charged more for the same garment. “Our goal is to offer a fun, empowering, and accessible shopping experience,” says Ungaro.

The Girl With Curves (GWC) collection will go live on QVC.com tomorrow and will air live on QVC on September 11.
