5 Best Marketing Strategies – Rachel Whynot

5 Best Marketing Strategies

Marketing. Such a big word right? There are two ways to market your business: online and offline. Before this .com era, offline marketing was crucial for a business. Now, if you aren’t marketing online, you are missing out BIG TIME. You should want to build your brand and business online because that is the future. Feel free to watch the Youtube video on these strategies as well.

I’m going to reveal 5 of my top secrets in marketing that I use in my business. And keep reading for a BONUS secret at the end.

Video Marketing

Marketing is basically the vehicle to get your message out there and to get sales for your business right? From now and beyond, it is all about video. Videos build that deeper connection with your audience. You have no choice in the matter. It’s not do I want to do it, should I do it — it’s I HAVE to do it.

So please start making those videos. Tell people about your product or service, how you can help them, anything. And I know it’s scary, I have clients who confess that they’re afraid to get on camera. I understand and I get it, I just started a Youtube channel. I put myself out there because I want to help entrepreneurs like you right? I want to help you succeed in business. And with that mission, video is the best way to get that message across.

Social Media

These 3 elements are key for marketing online: Instagram,  LinkedIn, and Youtube. Mind you, I don’t recommend or suggest any strategies that I have not used/tested for myself.

Instagram is the number one engagement platform, meaning people are consuming content more and more. Instagram is huge, about 80% of my clients come from Instagram alone. LinkedIn is good for b2b (business to business). It’s big for coaches, consultants, a service, and also products in the tech arena. The goal is to make connections so direct messaging on both Instagram and LinkedIn should be used to your advantage. Lastly there’s Youtube, which I just started building myself. There are plenty of Youtubers that have huge success which is why I’m doing it now. Basically the more that it grows, the more people I get to help.

These 3 platforms are the future, so I focus my content and marketing efforts on those.

Chatbots

You don’t have to be a techie. No need to fear chatbots. I use 2 chatbots in my business that gets me a ton of really targeted leads. A chatbot nurtures those leads and builds that know, like, and trust factor.

I have a chatbox for both Facebook and LinkedIn. It saves you time and money because it’s automated right? Everything I’m telling you guys are ways to save time and money. That way you can focus on expanding your business.

Email

Email is not dead. It’s an amazing marketing tool to use for your business. However, there is a wrong way to do it, and a right way. A quick tip is to be personal. Think about what you would write to a friend. The more human you are, the more people are going to relate to you. You will build a deeper connection which will result in better conversions.

Paid Advertising

People are also fearful/reluctant when it comes to paid advertising. Facebook has obviously been around for a long time, but Youtube is also growing as well. Now when I say Facebook, I actually mean Facebook and Instagram because Facebook owns Instagram.

The reason they are the best in terms of paid advertising is because they’re highly targeted. Let’s say I want to sell my coaching platform to realtors. I can target like crazy. What are those people watching on TV. What do those people read? Where do those people hang out?

Now a key thing I mentioned in another article is to have an EXPERT behind your paid advertising. Even if you know a little, please don’t do it yourself. It’s like lighting a pile of cash on fire. I have my own expert. They know the targeting strategies and the algorithms.

Bonus

Okay time for the bonus. It’s FUNNELS. If you don’t know what a sales funnel is you can read this blog or watch my Youtube video

So basically, you’re taking a cold audience and trickling them down to build that know, like, and trust factor. It’s big because you want to keep that person engaged throughout all your marketing tactics. I highly recommend using ClickFunnels and you can get a free trial here.

I hope you guys take advantage of these strategies and platforms that I’ve discussed, and I wish you the best of luck!
