I started The Kendra Studio in 2019.
Grew it in 2020.
And I will scale it in 2021.
How?
By creating a community filled with resources and tools to equip women of color to build wealth online.
I’ll list the 5 tips you should use in 2021 to scale your biz (I’m using them, too!):
In order to sell digital products online, you must first have an audience who knows, likes, and trusts you. Once you have established trust and then created a product that will solve a pain point for them, you will then have a business.
1. Build & grow your audience.
It’s great to have products, but what’s better is having products for sale that people want to buy.
So, you start with serving your audience.
You give them value by finding out their pain points and creating ways to solve them. Conduct research on your audience and make sure you know who they are and how you can help them.
2. Create your brand.
Once you have identified your audience, you now want to focus on creating a memorable brand by creating content that they will find useful and beneficial to whatever transformation they’re seeking. One way to do this is by overdelivering and providing valuable content to your audience.
3. Sell your products.
In order to have a digital product business, you need to create and sell digital products!
You will need to price your products and create a storefront that you can sell from, whether it’s from your own website and/or by using platforms like Etsy & Creative Market.
I’m here to help you build your digital product legacy, so my advice is to decide on the product you want to create, create it, and then sell it to your audience.
4. Market your products.
Let people know what you’re selling and why. If you don’t tell people you’re selling anything then it will be much more difficult for them to buy the product.
You must stand by your product and show people how your product will give them the transformation they’re seeking.
This can be done without coming off as salesy and sleazy by connecting with your audience.
5. Connect with your customers.
People buy from people they know, like and trust. So come up with a few ideas to connect with your customers on their level. Perhaps they like certain hobbies i.e. photography, food, traveling and create content that incorporates things they enjoy.
Let me know in the comments, what are you going to focus on most in 2021?
