“Beauty Never Tasted So Good”


Once upon a time, the idea of indulging in chocolate that would improve your hair, skin, and nails seemed like it could only be a dream. Not anymore.

World-renowned beauty legend and entrepreneur Bobbi Brown has decided to, once again, change the formula with today’s launch of Beauty Bites. The definition of beauty food, these unique functional chocolate bites are the latest products in Brown’s growing wellness line, EVOLUTION_18, available exclusively at Walmart.  “When I set out to create Beauty Bites, my dream was to create a bite-sized chocolate that tasted rich and delicious but that was also full of good-for-you ingredients like collagen, hyaluronic acid, and biotin that all work to keep your skin, hair, and nails healthy. Beauty Bites met all my expectations – it’s a Brooklyn-made, chocolate that tastes delicious,” says Brown.

Since 2019, Walmart has partnered with Brown to carry 10 products from her wellness brand, Evolution_18 in-store and on Walmart.com. Now, two exciting new products are being launched, decadent tasting Beauty Bites that are infused with beauty foods like biotin, hyaluronic acid, and collagen. The chocolate Beauty Bites will join the rest of the Evolution_18 supplement line, that are now being sold in the Skincare Aisle in Walmart stores nationwide.

There are two delicious flavors available: Chocolate Peanut Butter and Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch. Each single Beauty Bite contains nutritional benefits that help to improve hair skin and nails: 250 mg of collagen peptides to promote a firm, healthy and vibrant skin tone, 500 mcg of biotin for stronger hair and nails, and 25 mg of hyaluronic acid that supports moisture, suppleness, and elasticity of the skin.

“Over the past few years, the beauty industry has evolved with a focus on products that promote beauty from the inside out. It’s not just about looking good. We want you to feel good and that’s what Evolution_18 is helping our customers achieve,” said Paula Ryan, Senior Merchandising Director, Beauty, Walmart U.S.

With both beauty brands Brown created — Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and Jones Road — and now her wellness line Evolution_18, the goal has always been to make beauty and wellness accessible to everyone. “Making the decision to partner with Walmart and launch Beauty Bites with them as our partner wasn’t really a pivot, it was a strategic choice to align ourselves with a retail partner who believes in delivering high-quality, trusted well-priced products to their customers every day,” says Brown.

The quest for Brown to create this product was driven by her love of great food and wellness. It’s a path she has been on since the launch of her book, Beauty from the Inside Out. Then, following her departure from her name-sake company, she pursued a degree as a health and wellness coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. At the time, there was no plan to launch more brands – but Brown saw there was a gap in the market. “Anyone who knows me knows I love chocolate and I enjoy having a little square of it after lunch or dinner just to satisfy my sweet tooth. The premise of EVOLUTION_18 has always been about satisfying a wellness need, but never sacrificing taste – I’m a foodie so everything in the collection has to taste delicious,” says Brown. “There wasn’t a functional gourmet chocolate on the market that was also packed with collagen and biotin, so why wouldn’t I create it and share it with my customers. Beauty never tasted so good,” says Brown.

For decades, Brown has ideated and created products for people to elevate how they look and feel becoming a deeply trusted voice in beauty and in recent years in wellness with her certification as a health and wellness coach from IIN. Brown has always worked at the intersection of beauty and wellness. With Brown’s longtime “formula first” product development approach, formulating the Beauty Bites had to follow the same standard. For Brown, they had to have potent active ingredients for maximum efficacy.

 “Beauty Bites aren’t just good-for-you ingestibles, they are artisanal, epicurean-grade chocolates infused with collagen and biotin. They are a revolutionary product for both the brand and Walmart who has wholeheartedly supported our mission of raising the bar on how delicious supplements can and should be,” says Brown.
