I’m so excited to introduce you to my first student featured in this series, Bridget Linstead.
Bridget is the perfect example that if you have a desire to learn watercolor, and dedicate time to practicing and painting – you can create absolutely beautiful paintings and products.
I’m still in awe that she has only been painting with watercolor for about a year and a half (she started in January 2019)!
I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting Bridget in person, and she’s an absolute sweetheart. I can’t wait for you to get to know her better today!
BRIDGET’S BACKGROUND
Q: What first got you interested/excited to dive into the world of watercolor?
A: The accessibility of watercolor is what first got me interested in it. I can pick it up and put it down at any time. I don’t need 5 hours to dedicate to painting before my supplies ruin. For someone who has limited time, this has been the perfect medium to purse my creative passion. I can even paint at my kitchen table! It’s so user friendly.
Q: How long have you been painting?
A: I began using watercolor in January 2019.
Q: How long have you been in business?
A: Since May 2020
Q: What category would you consider your business to be in?
A: I sell lifestyle products in my shop, sell original watercolor paintings, design wedding artwork, and license my artwork to other brands.
Q: What is your favorite thing to create?
A: Right now, beach scenes from Seaside, Florida or anywhere along Hwy 30A!
