Forbes China: 50 Women In Tech

Forbes China launched its first annual list to honor 50 Top Women in Tech in mainland China in 2019. The third edition is out in the latest issue of Forbes China magazine.

The list identified women that are making a mark in areas related to science, technology, engineering and math in business, government and education. All of the listees of the Forbes China 50 Top Women in Tech hold at least one degree in a STEM-related major. To give room to newcomers, we excluded members from last year’s list.

Our search for candidates included interviews with venture capitalists, female business leaders, and female leadership groups. We scanned other Forbes lists for candidates and leads, as well as the ranks of top China-related companies in technology and healthcare-related industries. In making the final cut, we took into account business size, job responsibilities, innovation and influence.
