How to Use LinkedIn for Business Marketing

LinkedIn is a platform that is growing rapidly. I used LinkedIn to build my first business. In this blog I’m going to tell you tips and tricks on how to use LinkedIn to market your business online.

Before we dive in, I’d like to share a little bit of my backstory. The first business I built 8 years ago, when I was 20, literally started from nothing. I had zero leads and zero money. In order to generate leads and revenue for my business I tapped into LinkedIn. I used LinkedIn to build my entire business. And I want you guys to be able to utilize this platform as well. So feel free to keep reading or watch the Youtube video.

Content

The content that you post is how you attract your customers. LinkedIn consists of various professionals and businesses, which is great for consultants, coaches, techies, or anyone who falls under B2B. I personally use Crowd Fire, which allows me schedule posts on LinkedIn and they’ll be automatically posted. LinkedIn is huge for lead generation so be sure to put out content that’s going to attract those leads. Content I recommend are videos,  photos, and tips & tricks.

Make sure your profile on LinkedIn is optimized as well. Who are you? What do you do? Who is your product or service for? You also want your bio to reflect yourself of course. You should think of your LinkedIn page almost like a resume. There’s also an opportunity for you to include referrals on your profile. This is huge for your profile because it builds credibility instantly.

Direct Messaging

Direct messaging is how you build relationships and get personal with potential clients. I would message and follow-up with people until I got them as a client. I use to manually message each and every person, but I’m going to share a secret that will save you a TON of time. I recommend getting a LinkedIn chatbot. You’ll be able to carve out your messaging and follow up with your target audience. Another tip, when following up please give some space in between.

LinkedIn was a game changer for me. And it would be a hundred percent game changer for you in your business. I go into LinkedIn chatbots deeper in this video. I hope all of this information was helpful, and I wish you guys the best of luck on your entrepreneurial endeavors!
