When it comes to Instagram, if you don’t know what you are doing, you could be a duck straggling to stay above water (just float little duck! es okay 💖) this blog post is here to help. 

Valentines Day celebrates love & spirit of romance. Creating those emotions with your audience is a lucrative sales strategy I have used 2 years now, and will be again a 3rd time in 2021!  Valentine’s Day Sales work because many would-be customers don’t save their money past Christmas time, but 30 days later, they have a little extra money in their pocket.

What % of my audience should watch my stories? 

As many as possible, duh. But 8%-12% is a good place to be. Audience attention is increasingly diversed. So start building story loyalty!

I notice my views increase when I make big announcements, am consistent with my value & teaching content (yes – that IS important), and when I travel and/or show glimpses into my personal life (cute pics with Victor and I to be shared later this week on IG).

The answer here is Quality & Engagement. 

It’s called Instagram Story… *NOT* Instagram Fragmentation. Continuous storylines that don’t require too much depth. WHERE IS THE STORY? ⁣WHERE IS THE ROMANCE? BUMP UP THE LUV!

Boost Engagement Before Your Sale

Essentially you must boost the “friendliness” level between your account & the accounts of your followers. What does that mean? IT MEANS YOU MUST BE THE ENGAGER! Treat your audience like you would treat your Valentine’s crush. Be nice. Reply back. Show SUPPORT! Genuine interactions will help your content hit those feeds + increase profile visits (yay, marketing!)

Don’t be afraid to seduce your audience either (I like to use doilies, real conversation starter!).

A common mistake is focusing too much on the warm/hot leads. We love these leads because they are more familiar to us. I can go on forever but if you follow this flexible process outlined below, you should be good: 

Want them to buy? Do nothing but: ⁣⁣

👉🏽 evaluate your business in the current marketplace in which it operates in

👉🏽 decide and strategize on a single offer to sell to ideal customers (prospects) within that marketplace

👉🏽 adjust the plan as needed. Circle back to your WHY and desired result. Make changes.

👉🏽 build brand and customer loyalty through providing an excellent customer experience.

👉🏽 sales is all about closing. ABC (always be closing) (I hate hearing it too!)

👉🏽 on-boarding & serving. Figure out other offers later. Get this right first.

I hear you girl, but you need to get over it. Go OUT there and SELL. The plate is there for you to step up to it. Who cares if your boss/ex/so-so industry friend sees it? Get over your drama, get your money, & build you business, community and legacy. Your new chapter can begin at any moment.  

Just breath & be yourself. Talk to your audience like they are your friends & they will hear you out because you are making the effort

Your audience follows you for a reason: because they are crushing on your content, your business, and ON YOU!!!  

Don’t stand them up, especially on the week of Valentine’s Day. Instead, show-up, and get paid!
