Staying Creative and Positive During an International Pandemic By Daria Fennell

If you would have told me in 2019 that I (a naturally very free spirit) and everyone in the world would be under some form of quarantine or lockdown due to an international pandemic in 2020 and 2021, I would not have believed you.

As a very creative person who is naturally an extrovert, I am not going to front like our current international pandemic, and being quarantined for almost an entire year hasn’t tested my creativity and positivity gangsta.  It most certainly has!

As a CEO, Director of PR & Brand Strategy, & a Celebrity Entertainment Journalist of The Daria Fennell Media Group, I am literally in the people business.

I love being around people and their energies and vibes, attending events, going to new restaurants, listening to live music, and meeting celebrities & all types of beautiful people throughout my wonderful life journey.

On Staying Creative

Those times that I need to write something like an article, a bio, or a press release, I make sure to first take a walk outside or play my favorite music to open and refresh my mind before taking on such an intense endeavor.

I am a true music lover and I literally listen to almost every genre of music, from Bon Jovi to Linkin Park to Chuck Brown to Jodeci to Rascal Flatts. Whatever mood I’m in, I’ll play the music that directly corresponds to my mood.

When it’s time for you to also be creative, do an exercise that makes you happy, get you moving, and/or gets you inspired.

On Staying Positive

This has been a very stressful and very depressing chapter in our world’s history. Blessings to everyone who has experienced Covid-19 personally or has lost a loved one due to this virus.

You must stay positive so we can get on the other side of this current situation mentally, physically, emotionally, & spiritually sound.

Practicing amazing self-care is key.

Whether that is taking an aromatherapy bath, lighting aromatic candles, or getting therapy, you must do something that is good to you.

As the late, great Maya Angelou stated “Every storm runs out of rain.”

Stay encouraged!
