TreeSisters is a social change and reforestation charity that places tropical forest restoration into everyone’s hands. Through a variety of different programs, the organization has planted of over 15 million trees across 12 international locations while also encouraging a cultural shift from a consumer culture to a restorative one. Inspiring feminine leadership across the globe, the organization is constantly providing resources, experiences and communities that inspire personal and collective action on behalf of the trees.
Armenian Tree Project
The Armenia Tree Project is based out of Yerevan, Armenia and Woburn, Massachusetts. In it’s 26 year history, the organization has successfully planted over 6,000,000 trees in Armenia. They also have an educational component to their model that has inspired and reached over 57,000 students and teachers. Their mission is a great match to donors who care about both current environmental needs and prevention to ensure a sustainable future.
Eden Reforestation Projects
Eden Reforestation Projects (Eden) reduces extreme poverty and restores healthy forests by employing local people, mostly women, to plant millions of trees every year. They have a network on the website called Million Tree Partners. these organizations or entities have wanted over 1,000,000 trees with Eden.
